Sniper SPS Mystic Blue Stag..

I acquired this piece from NWrogers on 8/08. Didn't snap a pic thought it was a regular stag .. Here are some progression pic and it turns out to be one of my best SPS in the tank. You guys be the judge..

great progression shots. love seeing the transformation from a rather dull looking frag to a gorgeous colony. this stag is awesome now, but has even more potential i think. thanks for sharing.

Looks like a firework that exploded mid-air. I have a pectinatus that grows like that, single branch and then it busts all out. Nice color-up for sure!

Looks real nice, only down side is it doesn't seem like the base is growing terribly much, which looks like a really large frag you'll make if you accidentally whack it... which I have done before myself

Wow I never thought of that .. yeah the base and the body is so skinny.. If I accidentally whack it off it will be on the F/S thread lol j/k..

Very nice steve. That color variation looks so much like the Cquarium Unknown stag. It seems like that variation came into different places as I have 4 different pieces with 4 different names with similar growth, color and coralite structure.

I have also the tubs Mystic Blue the grwoth pattern is different and the body is more brown and the tips is yellow... I will snap a pic of it and post..

I agree .. but have to go with what the guy sold it .. I don't like renaming corals :lol:.. Hope NWrogers will chime in .. he got some pieces that are nice too bad only 3 survive out of 6 I bought from him..
