How's Puerto Galera doing? The first time I went was 20 years ago. So much development over the years. It seems to have taken it's toll. Have you snorkeled any other areas of the Philippines?

Palawan is great! I actually went to Boracay when there only one hotel that had a generator! How things have changed. Have you looked at Panglao Island? Great diving/snorkeling, nice beaches and just laid back.

For diversity, try Batangas. Very inexpensive diving and "hotel" accommodations.
