ok.. So i have had several pairs of clownfish in the past.. Both that I have had spawned in the tank and would always host to something..

I added a snowcasso and a platinum clown in at the same time.. They have swam together in my qt tank for months.. I added them to my 400 display and they seemed to fight a lot.. They have been sleeping separately and now each host a different coral several feet away.. They only really leave their coral to eat..
What do you guys think about adding two clownfish in the tank? Or do I add one? I would live to have two pairs of clown in the tank both hosting... Any method I should use?

This may be tuff, but maybe I will get lucky.. i have seen this done before..

Tank is 7ft x 3ft x 30 inches

:headwalls:

First you added to different types of clowns.I wouldnt add multiple clowns, but If I were I would take them out, and pair them up first. I would also make sure they have a host on their side of the tank.

i was assuming that,, ugh... I mean they are different i guess,, But aren't the only differences their patterns?

Im a little confused.. the snowcasso wont pair up with another piccaso? I could get another platinum for the one i currently have.. i may try this, one at a time, then if it doesn't work i'll have to remove at least one and do like you said...

They are the same clowns just diff patterns,, AS of two days ago they have been checking out each others home (torch n froggy) now they are swimming together,, The platinum is a bit bigger,, I think they are finally going to pair up!!!!

Its pretty cool to watch this behavior.. They basically switched their home a couple time too, strange..

There's about a 5 percent chance at best that it can workout. They'll be fine for a year or two then the odd one will get killed by the dominant female! :( and snowcasso picasso platinum onyx are true percula.
