Snowflake eel changing color

I bought my SFE about 3 months ago and it looked like a typical Snowflake. Its eating good and has grown a lot, but it's changed color. All the white is now a dark grey. So now its grey with black and yellow. I feed it krill, squid, and brine. Has anyone ever seen SFE do this? Could it be a health issue?

Anything could be possible. It could be different coloration based on the collection point. It may change colors as it is maturing or depending on its mood.

Thats an interesting one. I wont say that changing color is necessarily a bad thing, but not sure if its healthy either. Hopefully some more experienced eel owners will chime in. Perhaps its the diet, but it seems varied..
