I have about a 12" Snowflake Eel that I've kept in an aggressive tank for about 10 months now. I'm thinking about switching him over into our Reef tank to lessen some bioload on my aggressive tank. What is everyone't thoughts on this?

Eel Profile -
Doesn't go after snails, hermits, or urchins. Has left damsels alone in the aggressive tank. Really doesn't seem to be aggressive towards anything and only seems to go after his feedings of krill and silversides. My main concern is that we have a Randall's Shrimp Goby and 3 Cleaner shrimp in the reef tank and don't particularly want them to become eel food. What is everyone's thoughts on the matter?

That is kinda what I don't want to happen. Love my shrimp. Anyone had success keeping them with cleaner shrimp?

in the wild they eat crabs and shrimp instead of fish and so your goby should be ok. eventually he will probably eat your shrimp though.
