so how big???

fuge

fuge

yep it's gonna have a fuge, 36*18 *18 4 chamber, it's 1 of our stock fuges we use, complete wit fish cut out viewing panel in the 2'nd chamber. It's nice to help the addiction to the hobby to have mil +$ of cnc ( computer numeric controled ) equimpment to work wit. All cuts on the pieces are within .01 mm and it makes it nice for the final glue. Also going wit a 40 watt uv to make the mix go well. as well wit doing 50% water changes once a week for the first 6 weeks. Leaving nothing to chance as far as AV goes this is my 1 finger salute to her

The wonderful miz vincent states absolute, that seahorses cannot be kept in the home aquarium, not only that but as she cannot keep seahorse fry to maturity, then anyone proclaiming to be a breeder is a liar.

She is the worlds formost authority on seahorses (god give me strength) and as such, she is the only one with any posibility of doing this, and as she cannot, well, there ya go.

Both Project Seahorse and the wonderful miz vincent have attacked me personally, both tried desperatly to stop my breeding program, both lied, used viscious methods to perpertrate me as a monster rapist of the sea, did not care of their filthy lies, ended up being the laughing stock of all who have any slight knowledge of the ocean, especially the Australian Government.

As far as I am concerned, both she and PS are the true enemy of the seahorse, for they care not one whit about them, rather, their name in lights is all that matters.

yes David and maybe the truth will be known and spread bout their activity. As u no the Taj. is my stand against their u’r malicious ways wit dealing wit the natural seahorse population. So we'll see if a novice from S. Indiana can do what am and ps saz's can't be done..............

the skill of building the Taj, and the motivation is listed as # 1 to my wife the best syng. tank I could do for her. #2 to prove the AV project is way off base. For the love of my wife and the seahorses, I'M building the Taj. Yes it's going slow but trying to do it all right the 1st time. Been working on the Taj. for over 18 months, I hope the proof will be in the end result....

That tank is way too big. No seahorse would ever live in it for more than a couple of days. You should really send it to me for disposal. :)

The only thing to big on the Taj. is the budget, working on training the sh to eat from feeding stations, so the " cafeteria will be smaller " for the frozen. Getting worried that the pumps will not be here b-4 the weekend. Ready to finish the plumbing and leak test to move it into place and start cycling..

the Taj is my stand against Am Vin, who knows every thing bout seahorses. It was orginaly ment to be my reef tank but has been mod to be the syng Taj, looking at least having Reidi, Kuda, and Erectus occupy the tank wit some pipes. tks for the help on the pics Seanewb

It's not a good idea to mix seahorses. Especially with erectus in the mix. (Unless they are all from the same breeder and all in the same water) Different species carry pathogens / diseases that other species may not be able to survive being exposed to. Pipes also carry things that are not good for seahorses.

With good control, well executed cleaning scheduals, a big UV, skimmer and attention to nutrition, mixing is not the evil protraid, but, it is fraught with danger unless a very dedicated approach is undertaken.

well said D. 40 watt uv , deltek 701 skimmer, and the most important the 50% water change every week for atleast 6 weeks. So that will be around 125 gals a week

Deltec line up

Deltec line up

from left to right, Deltec pf 600 fluidised ca/rx rated for 300 gal high stocking levels ( it'll be on a timer way over kill right now) . Deltec fr 509 fluidised reactors, there are two of them 1 for rowa-phos ( phosphate remover ) the other for rowa-carbon. Last the workhorse for water quality Deltec ap 701 skimmer rated at 333 gals normal stocking levels, 222 gals heavy stocking. Pumps should be here b-4 the end of the weekm as well as the doors finished

1. What is going to keep this tank cool?
2. Are you going with CB or WC horses?

For what it's worth - I too believe there is great rick in mixing species.
