I went to Reefworks yesterday just to get 10 gallons of water so I can do my routine water change and I saw this light bluish green carpet anemone, this branching purple coral with neon green polyps, and this encrusting monti with neon green polyps. I bought all of them...

When I got home, I put the nem in a bucket to acclimate and he attatched to the corner of the bucket...I am an idiot, I know. I left the bucket on its side in the tank for 12 hours and he did not come out. HE IS CONTENT IN THE BUCKET!!!! How would you guys get the nem out???

I will post pics when I get a hold of my roommates camera...

Ive heard placing a bag with some icecubes next to a anem will make them move. Ive never done it, anyone else heard of or tried this?

just get under his foot - he cant be holding on that hard - swish water at him - or point a powerhead or something at him and he might move his self

This guy is anchored hard. I could not get under his foot at all. Should I empty the water out of the bucket and then try to freeze his foot to get him to move, or would that be a bad idea??/

probally more stress than needed, just try the cube and see if he scurries away. the guy that told me that trick said he could almost guide his nem's to where he wanted them to live.

I got it off the bucket. It took me 30 minutes with a 600 gph powerhead but the little f***** came off finally. He also stung the crap out of my hand, which is always a good sign. He is right where I want him right now but we will see if he stays.

I forgot to mention that my mom told me that she wouldnt talk to me for a week if I got rid of it, and my grandmother started crying when I told her that I was getting rid of it.
