So I caught a tiny ball anemone

Sitting on the sand bed..the live rock it was previously attached to was nearby, with several other ball nems still attached. I thought it was odd to find it on its own off the rock, especially with predators like emerald and hermit crabs wandering about the tank. Is this pretty common with them? (They were hitchikers on several of my live rock pieces)

really noone? It's still in the same spot on the gravel/sand, looks alive

Well all I can say is, that all the ball nems I ever had stayed on the rock. Are you sure it's a ball nem.?

The pic i posted on here a while back of them I was told ball nem. They are orangey/pink with clear tentacles and white balls at the end of the tentacles

They move around a lot. They only come out at night. They get to just under 1 inch. Use a flashlight to see them at night.
