ok so the guy buying the fish in my 90G(breeding pair of midas) is on his way, sooooo it begins

tank spec's ,90G(48x18x24),only 108w's of lighting for now,Ac110,ac70 powerhead and i'm in search for a skimmer

what media should i have n the ac110,i was told that filling it with live rock would be best with a small light on top,is this true, and should i have a prefilter on it,and one on the powerhead as well

now i'd like to know what fish i will add before hand so i can choose which to get first,i want a lion, preferrably a voliton but i might settle for a smaller lion but not a dwarf if it will open up a few other fish options

what would i be able to house in the tank with a lion,i would like to have a trigger as well, for now i will only have a few low light corals/enomies/mushrooms/poloups so i'l need a trigger that has a good chance of not bothering them,

with those 2 fish are there anything that i would be able to house with them

i'm new to the SW game so explain it like you would to a 6yr,lol

I wouldn't stick a voliatan lion in that size tank.
Probably wouldn't stick a trigger in their either....just me.

Look into the various lionfish and triggers that interest you and then look at their maximum size capabilities. Not the recommended minimum tank size, that's usually crap IMO, but see how big the fish get....If the fish cannot easily turn around in the tank, they'l have a hard time thriving. And a 4 foot tank is not alot of swimming room for some of these larger fish.
