So much for a frag swap.

Black Sabbath (Ozzy and DIO versions), Judas Priest, Metalica, Scorpions, UFO........Fast forward 20 years and put Godsmack on the list.

Metalica is a bunch of sell outs, they became what their early fan base once turned their backs to. Nothing good since And Justice For All. They went mainstream with the Black Album and never looked back. They did put on a good show the few times I seen them but that was still Jason Newsted era. There power must have been the alcohol, like so many they never should of stopped the drinking :)

Any one see about the Rock on The Range Show in C-bus... Korn. Janes Addiction, Chevelle........

Personally, I think they showed their true colors during the whole Napster thing. Although not an old school fan by any stretch, I did like And Justice for All.

My favorite band of all time without a doubt is TOOL.

Saw Metallica years ago on the Kill em all tour at the old Cleveland Agora. Not a big fan of the newer stuff but I would guess they still put on a great show.
Avenged7fold is playing tonight in Cleveland those guys aren't too bad.

Yea tool is always good, don't forget about Rage Against the Machine.

Being in Cleveland I thought someone would throw in Mushroom Head and going that route don't forget Slipknot (stole Mushroom Heads act).

Godsmack HAHAHAHA, I'm sorry I was avoiding this thread but Godsmack, cmon. If thats the case you might as well add Nickelback and Puddle of Mudd. All three of which I cant stand which is why you will never, ever, hear any sorry station like 97.5 or 98.5 in my home or car. And being on this subject Maxwell probably has the worst radio talk show of all time, you did drugs Maxwell, wow.

I don't listen to Maxwell as I have satellite radio.

Octane is always on my dial. Used to be Buzzsaw, but they got rid of that station.

Big tool fan as well. My buddy's band opened for them in High school in a little dive bar called Flash Gordon's

I saw Black Sabath at Blossum and Godsmack opened up for them. They just released their first Album. Never heard the band before that night. They put on a good, heavy and loud show. Nickleback and Puddle of Mudd are garbage.

Then the old guys came on and jammed hard - Tony Iomi, Geezer Butler, etc., Ozzy sucked because he was sick.

+3 on Tool, seen them way back in '91. Rage, mushroomhead, slipknot all badass....lets keep it rollin, Hatebreed, Bury your Dead, NDE(streetsboro) Deftones, Cradle of Filth, Danzig(samhain-misfits), Crowbar, Screwdriver, GWAR and for piratefish, I happen to like AC/DC......;)

I saw godsmack open for sevendust.... Godsmack gave out there cd's at the concert and played probably 4 alice in chains cover tunes. A year later it was Godsmack all over the radio

I'm getting my TOOL tattoo done on Monday, can't wait!! By far my favorite band.

Slipknot did not steal Mushroomhead's act BTW, they were both into the masked metal at the same time, but neither band stole the other's act... It was the Mushroomhead fans that started the war once Slipknot got signed to Roadrunner Records. But anyways, it doesn't really matter, old Slipknot was great, new stuff is ok (too sold out IMO), and Mushroomhead was amazing while J Mann was the lead, since then, blah.

As far as Rock on the Range is concerned, I would love to go, but I'm just not that impressed with the lineup to be honest. For sure, I'll be trying to win passes off the radio, but I have no intentions on paying for tickets.

I am for sure planning on hitting up the Mayhem Festival in Pittsburgh this year - Marilyn Manson, Slayer, Bullet For My Valentine, WhiteChapel, Cannibal Corpse, Job For A Cowboy, All That Remains, God Forbid, Trivium, Behemoth and The Black Dahlia Murder... That will be a kickass show for sure!

Led Zep, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Sabbath, Floyd, Stevie Ray...Metallica, AC/DC

the new includes....Godsmack, Disturbed,Three Days Grace, Korn, Tool,Linkin Park...etc...

I didnt really mean they stole it but slipknot went mainstream just prior to Mushroomhead. Originaly Slipknot was not masked but under suggestion of somebody they went that way. When Mushroomhead came out it was hey they stole Slipknots gig. You know Slipknot, not many outside of Ohio know of Mushroomhead. Slipknot is actully better musicians playing out of their league...... At least that was allways what I was told at their recording studio (a little biased)...

Man did this thread get derailed or what :)

Hendrix and Floyd both get a good amount of play time on my iPhone. Little Wing by Hendrix is a perfect song...

I enjoy Red House.
