Hello hello,

I recently found out that my wonderful crocea has attached himself to one of my rocks in my aquarium. I dont think its a problem however i REALLY think it would be a good idea if i knew how to remove him if I needed too.

Thoughts?

Suggestions?

Thanks,

Jim

From what I understand....don't pull it if it requires more than just a little tugging. It is recommened to cut the strings produces by their byssal gland. However, cut the strings as close as you can to the rock it is attached on. Don't cut the strings near the clam.
I would pull up the clam a little so you can see what your doing and just even take a razor blade and cut the strings right at the base on the rock it is attached to.
