I don't want to steal your thread so thought I would ask. May I post some soccer photos I took a couple of weeks ago too?

Thanks. They aren't on the quality level of yours but I like them.

All shot with a Canon 40D with 70-200 f/2.8L with 1.4x multiplier. Quick edits with iPhoto to boost Definition and Sharpness and drop Brightness due to those shirts.

If anyone has any input to improve my technique please share!!

gtekell, I like the player's concentration / tongue in #4.

Heh, yeah. If you like at the boy in #3 and #7 you'll see his tongue is out a bit too. In fact he is one of our most active players and so I have probably 30 shots of him and in every one of them, his tongue is out. I just hope he never trips and falls.

#5/6 needs to tie his shoes!

(oops, I thought I got rid of that duplicate.) Untied shoes is very common at this age. The ref paused the game 4 or 5 times to let the kids tie their shoes. I would have thought that by 10 and 11 that wouldn't be a problem any more, but oh well. :hammer:

I love the 70-200, it allows you to crop in to get the great composition from the "good" shot. It is so much better than I am. (Especially noticeable in #4.)
