I have been using the balling method for the past couple of months.
I just bought some bulk additives to use from BRS. But I bought Sodium Carbonate by accident. I've been using sodium bicarbonate. How bad did I do?
Thanks
Tom
Sodium Carbonate raises kh and ph. If your ph is normally below 8.3 use the carbonate.
Sodium Bicarbonate will raise kh. If your ph is normally above 8.3 use the bicarbonate.
Most people that dose two part solution use sodium carbonate for their alkalinity part.
