soft coral lighting needs

I've been wanting to switch over from mh to t-5, how many days can my corals go without light, or just normal daytime room light. I would need to sell my fixture before purchasing a new one.

You would be ok for a few days I would assume. you could always position a houselamp near the tank for the time being.
