softie chemical warefare

I plan on keeping a mostly softy tank with different types of leathers, mushroom, and zoanthids.

Any problem with these types of corals growing too close to each other?

Not really! Frequent water changes are key...also, light competition will be more of an issue. Xenia, Anthelia, Briarium and Pachyclavularia will be the apex inhabitants in growing and taking over space initially taken by Zoas and Paly's plus mushrooms.
Placement is key as well as pruning!

Some mushrooms will often win territorial battles against other encroaching corals. My rhodactis will beat back zoanthids, palythoa, gorgonians, and some hard corals.

Shouldn't have a problem, possibly with mushrooms as they may excrete toxic slime if they are being touched by another coral but I not see any major issues I've had all the above in my tanks for years with no ill affect
