Solana Crew.. Livestock List?

Guys - Would you mind posting what fish you have in your Solana?

Curious what you guys are successfully keeping in your 34g's, what kind of bioload you're running, etc.

I like where this thread is going! I'm looking for something cool to add to mine. My tank is quite young, just over three months so I'm taking it slow (not to mention the cost of livestock).

What are the dream fish for solana owners. Of course were talking about fish that are reef safe and compatible with a 34g.

Gold stripe maroon clown, pseudochromis(sp.), striped dansel, yellow sea cucumber, black sea cucumber, lots of coral and a handful of snails and hermits. O and a rarely seen emerald crab

2 ocellaris, 1 scissortail dartfish, and 1 papuan (bluedot) toby puffer. A handful of snails and hermits.

Ragby do you have a puffer? What can you tell me about it?

He's a 2.5 inch blue dot toby (as seen here: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+39+232&pcatid=232). I kept him in a 29 gallon QT for about three months before I put him in the Solana. For the most part, he's very docile and friendly and eats well (I feed Rods and NSP Thera+A). He's been in the Solana now for about 6 weeks.

He shows no aggression to the two clowns or the dartfish. He did eat my big coral banded shrimp after about 48 hours -- so shrimp are out. He seems less interested in snails and hermits, though, and he hasn't touched any of my corals (currently frogspawn, duncan, elegance, and some zoas). But I have heard of some starting reef safe and becoming more aggressive down the road, so the jury is out.

He sleeps at night -- literally. First time I saw this in the QT I thought he was dead. And they wake up slowly, so I was really freaked when I put a net in the tank and he didn't move. In the Solana, he'll sleep on the sand, but more often on a piece of live rock. He camouflages to the live rock, and it's hard to find him at night. It's pretty incredible.

He gets spooked easily when I put my hand in the tank to clean algae and definitely needs rockwork to hide. I use a lot of rock, so it's fine, but with minimalist aquascaping at it's peak in the hobby, it's worth noting.

He's a striking fish. I actually like the Solana for him because they grow slowly and they aren't great swimmers. In bigger tanks with bigger and more aggressive fish, I imagine he'd be hiding more. In the Solana he gets to run the show. If he grows another inch and a half, I'll probably have to find him a bigger place to live.

Here are some shots:

aaaaaaand he's developed a taste for Zoas. Small colony of 8 was gone after about 24 hours. Seems like if it can sting it's safe, but if not, well...
