Solaris Lighting

They wont cost nearly as much 3 years from know if I were to guess. PFO Solaris will end up being the Tunze of the LED lighting world, and alot of other companies will be offering them with less controllability (thats what the majority of the PFO patents cover).

LEDS do last for a long long time. Bulb replacement of any signifigance could be a thing of the past. I cant wait till they start looking ahead. I want a LED hood that puts out the equivilant of 2 x 1000 but uses 250 watts. It can be done easily, its just a matter of time.

Hmmm...

If the replacements are $70 per strip now, I wonder how much they'll be by the time we need them? ;)

It really does seem to be just about the perfect solution... I'm excited to see where these go over the next 2 or three years. Maybe as it becomes a more solid contender, it will bring down the price of standard lighting...

It will be interesting to see!
