After reading many past posts I am not confident anyone can help me. My Solaris series I5 is not working today. Installed in Dec 08 it has worked very well for me with only a few LEDs that have stuck in the on position for a couple of years. The rest has worked great.
Last night I found the unit on at 1am. The control panel was frozen and no controls worked. I unplugged it and turned in on and the panel says "Initialized" but again the panel is frozen and won't do anything. I changed the battery on the central circuit board, as there was not much else I could do. No effect. Finally I used compressed air to clean it out and remove any debris. Again , no effect
Does anyone have any suggestions or do I now have a very expensive door stop???
Where do I go from here? Not really up on lighting, What is the best choice for a reef tank with lots of Acros, millis, Gonis,clams, etc these days
