Solartube over tank: good or bad?

To Any Lighting Experts or Experienced with Sunlight over Tank:

My new system will be in an area that has a lower-side-roof that I can get the Solartube to shine directly over the FOWLR with some softies. Is this a good idea to use the natural sunlight to shine over the tank or are there some unforseeable negative affect (there will be a vent/fan system to let out the heat from the sunlight or the lighting).

Please help.

Thanks, Jay

You cant beat natural sunlight. The only draw backs are increased heat and algea blooms. There is a huge thread on Solar Tubes with reefs but I cant get the search to work. I really dont think its enough light to support much in terms of corals.
