so starting my frag tank and looking for maximum growth.

total system volume is around 24 gallons. i plan on changing a gallon of water daily to try to keep everything more stable and try to avoid dosing this tank.

one of my more local frag businesses claims to solely feed a roti/pod diet so been thinking of trying this approach

according to REED MARICULTURE you CANNOT over dose roti's and i know your supposed to take some out of your culture daily to keep it healthy and thriving

so my main questions are does anyone think this is a good idea????
and my 2nd is does anyone see a problem with feeding daily with the phyto from the culture or do you solely seperate the roti and pods from the phyto and just put them into the tank?

Reed here... sorry if someone mislead you... you can definetely over dose rotifers into your tank. This is one reason we have feeding instructions on Roti-Feast.

With any bio-mass edition, you can definitely over do it. With rotifers it does take a lot to over do it, but you can (I've done it - ~5,000,000 a day for a few weeks in a 60g leads to algal outbreak issues.

I would not dose your culture water from any zooplankton or phytoplankton culture.
