Some advice for ball valve

I'm going to install ball valves on either side of my main supply pump so I can do maintenance without a flood. I have 1" flexible hose (neoprene?) which is identified as FDA. The inside diameter is 3/4 inch. It seems to me that the 3/4 inch ball valve should be right.

What do you think? Where would you buy it. Fosters and Smith is about $8.49.

Thanks for your input.

If it were me - Head over to Lowes, get what you need there. You can buy flexible hose by the food and they also have quality ball valves. All my plumbing came from them and have been very happy with the quality and price.

I know this is a little late, but Bulk Reef Supply has the heavy duty double union ball valves for the best price that I have seen.

The Lowes in CR did not stock the single or double union ball valves. I even requested one of their employees to check for me in case I was missing something and they were unable to find any for me. I wish they did stock them...it would be nice to have a local supplier.
