Some condition or some creature in my tank is destroying aiptasia...

And I wish I knew what it was. Not that I miss the aiptasia. But I have a few, and they are losing their tentacles, ending up with only the body column, and no tentacles at all. Whatever it is must work at night.

Ideas?

It has to be a predator, I can not imagine a water condition that would kill Aiptasia and not the varied corals you keep.

do you have any peppermint shrimp? I have seen mithrax crab grab and yank aiptasia when going after nearby bubble algae

My peppermint shrimp cleaned my aiptasia In a week flat. Could be them if you have some.
