Kqss,
My pm box is emptied. I can probably meet you just about anytime if you head up this way. I'm only 15 minutes from Fish Unlimited. I just can't get down to you (90 min. roundtrip) until next week.
Let me know if you head this way.
Jon

I have another cool purple frilly shroom thats about 5- 6 inches. These are a nice purple and green $10
Heres a picture of the mother candelebrium gorgonian from g.a.r.f.
When opened the width is like nickle sized.
I started with about a 2 inch frag from garf several yrs ago and it grew into this. Ive trimmed it before also.
Very easy to care for doesnt have to be fed.
It needs a trim so I will sell about 3 inch frags for $5.
Also I don't have any of those blue shrooms f/s/ except the one with the leather which I think is spoken for. They're in to hard of a spot to frag lol.
I do have this large about 5 inch blue/purple (depends on lighting) striped shroom for $7
The wagon wheels look awesome! The pulsing xenia looks great, but hasn't pulsed yet. The awesome looking Green Pocillapora frag doesn't look like it is going to make it. Probable the universe equalling itself out as the Peppermint shrimp that munched on the polyps came from the order that TJ's (dead) one came from.
Kass I'll buy one of those candelebrium gorgonian frags as long as it doesn't grow too fast!
Ok Scott no they don't grow real fast. I trim mine maybe once a year and had it prolly 4 yrs or so.
I'm sorry about the pocillapora. I did'nt know your pep shrimp would go after it. You could try putting something over it like a strawberry basket and maybe after a few days the pep will forget about it.
Not sure why the xenia is'nt pulsing. It pulses like mad in my tank.
I read sometimes PH or alk can have something to do with the pulsing but never had a problem with it not pulsing. Might just be from moving it to a diff tank. Lemme know what happens with it.
The peps are supposed to be reef friendly, mine just seems to get a bug up it's butt every now and then. Caught it munching on my Branching Frogspawn once, thought he was just hungry cause I tried doing an every other day feeding... missed a day and they went three days without flakes.
I'll try testing the PH once, what is yours at? Thought that I had it in too much flow and was going to move it.
You could try moving it also cuz they like some flow but not blasted with it. Mine grow well all over my tank as you can see in my pictures lol and they pulse like crazy.
It might also just take a few days to adjust to your tank.
Keep me posted on how it's doing. You can PM in a few days if it is'nt doing well.
nice looking frags Kass!! thankx The polyps on the sps are huge, my pep investigated it right away, but I don't think it was eating the sps, just picking food off it.
If you look closely at the monti cap, there are polyps on it, but there small and few and far between.
Cool Bri glad you like them, yeah pocillapora is kinda furry which I like.
Hopefully peps don't bother them. I have a skunk cleaner, pistol and fire shrimp that never bother my corals but don't have a pep.
I'm sure it will do well also under your lights.
The ric shrunk up but will open more after it's used to the tank.
Well Kass, Scott wasn't kidding when he said his peps ate the pocillapora, they devoured most of mine, I sent it with J to maybe bring it back, I was bummed, such a nice looking coral frag, guess we know now.
Sorry Kass, I'm going to have to pass on the candelebrium gorgonian frags. I ended up acquiring two frags, I wasn't expecting, from local reefers. Now I am packed to the rim again.
The pulsing xenia is beginning to gain some height on some strong looking stalks. I think I even saw a head pulse once. Haven't given up on the Pocillapora yet. The top 3/4 got munched pretty good just like Bri's, but the lower polups are coming out every once and while and it is showing some color in the lower tips.
