Some Loc-Line Questions

I am planning on using a mag pump that has 3/4 input/output. My understanding is that I should use a bigger size to increase flow?

Does this mean I shouldn't use Loc-Line since they are 3/4 max?

How do you connect to the PVC, is there an adapter? Can somoene point me in the right direction?

Do you NEED the tool to connect the pieces?

I think that's it - help is appreciated.

i would use as large of pumbing as possible and then at the end reduce it to the 3/4 loc-line

there is a threaded adapter that connects loc-line to standard PVC

no you dont need the tool.. you can use your hands and a towel.. ( so long as you are not weak)

Besides, the "tool" only works for the standard "normal" extender pieces, not on any of the special attachments (flares, nozzles, etc). Biggest waste of $20 bucks :)

I've never had to do this of course, but I've been told that if you put the Loc-Line in hot water for a little bit it's easier to work with.

And for those of you in the Chicago area they are located in downtown Lisle..Can buy the stuff right there....

And I agree...do not buy the tool....WASTE OF MONEY.....However, love using the loc line on my tanks
