Im shooting raw and messing with the white balance after. But you are right i do need to learn to use the white balance a bit better but, not bad being this is my first DSLR cam. Just got it for Xmas so im pleased with the improvement i made since i got it! Thanks for looking!
 
I wouldn't worry about lenses just yet.

Pick up a copy of "Closeups in Nature" by John Shaw. It's geared toward film but the concepts are the same. You're getting pretty decent results, you just need to practice. ;)

I dunno if i should take that as an insult :lol: j/k! ill definetly look into that book thanks for all the help thus far! it is greatly appreciated!
 
I know i was just messing with you! So what you are saying is i should spend the money on another upgrade for the tank first??? hehe gotta love this hobby!

Nah - I was saying save your money so that you can buy a REALLY expensive lens later.
