prop-frags

SPS Slave
It's been a while since I posted some pics of my new 180 system, so I figured "WTH, post some pics" :p

Lets start with the newly acquired pink milli (sorry about the focus):

And thank God I had fragged off a piece of my red table, because I lost the colony in the move to the new system:

A couple of the newer stylos (including the really cool blue polyp one (thanks Larry!):

The tricolor tenuis which I still have a very hard time getting the color right on the pictures:

prop-frags, nice looking corals. I got a pink mille like that this weekend, a little smaller though!
Can you tell me about your tank, did you do the horizontal overflow in the back yourself? How many drains do you have, etc. And, do you like it?!

Here it is, more salmon colored.

Nice! Where did u get the pink milli?
An LFS. It's only been in the system a week or so, but it sure is pretty. I'm hoping it will color up a bit more.

Thanks for the kind words. I posted this thread to document the set up of the new system and building of the fish room. I really love the new setup. Having all the equipment out in the fish room makes maintenance soooo much easier. The coast-to-coast is great. I get lots of surface skimming and it drains into 2 1" outlets that are then merged into a 1½" drain line running down to the fish room. It is nice and QUIET.

I did the same thing with my 30 cube, with two 1" drains connected and 3/4" return. I wish I had seen your thread before I built mine, I like the design of your two 1" drains much better than mine.
I have to say that I am a huge fan of the horizontal overflow. Quiet and great surface skimming! Congrats on the tank, it looks great.

Everything looks great... I can't wait to have some corals that look this good... I also REALLY want a clam lately... I think they arereally neat looking...

Dam that blue tort is nice, how long have you had it in there?
Believe it or not, I got this about 2 years ago from an LFS. It was on their frag rack, listed "ORA BLUE TORT FRAG".
Here it is when I first brought it home:
