As my wife says, I worked on it in my head for a year. The constrution and setup, minus the skins, took about eighty hours over about six weeks.
It took that long because I built almost everthing (except the glass and electronics) from scratch. Building the fuge/surge tanks and sumps was actually pretty easy.
I focused on making the things that were hidden work well. I didn't care much about pretty. Turns out acrylic is easy if it doesn't have to be pretty.
