ccj14u- the rock is only 2" but there is 9 larger polyps with 4-5 baby polyps on it.
joel- the iphone camera is still better than my point and shoot camera but just barely, and that still not saying much. Maybe one of these decades I will buy a decent camera.
Absolutely Mel, consider them pending I will shoot you a pm with my phone number and address, I am good for pickup tomorrow night after 6, Sunday-all day, and after 6 pm next week.
Is the anemone a so-called 'maxi mini'? I read up on the minis and they are the size of a quarter. This is way bigger. Thing is crazy, crawled across that LR and opened up and ate a huge chunk of mysis.
It could very well be a "maxi-mini" Joel. I have seen some of the mini carpet nems larger than a quarter but I'm not sure if those were maxi minis as well. I hope that will still work for you. If not let me know and we can work something out. Glad to hear it is eating at least.
I didn't mean to suggest I wasn't happy with it - to the contrary - just trying to figure out what to call it is all. I want more now, lol.
I certainly did have to throw that in about the pic being from the droid. Your pics aren't doing the corals justice - try to get better pics if you are going to sell/ship those - should help a lot. It's either movement or a focusing issue that's the problem. I'm sure that the iPhone can take great pictures. I leaned the droid against the light fixture so that it was still. HTH.
Thanks for the advise, I know the pics don't do the corals any justice, but I have seen worse on RC (just barely though). Glad you are happy with the nem. I have seen some insane colored ones (they can run from $70-120). If I have any room left in the 75 after I finish getting it setup I may throw a couple in there.
