Some (Not So Great) Nikon Shots

Well, ever since a buddy of mine pointed out that I was a disappointment to the hobby for not using the wife's Nikon camera in place of my iPhone for tank shots, I've been considering taking some pictures but I haven't had a chance until now. So here they are. I know they're not the best but I tried. Lol.

Nice shots. The second one is my favorite, but it would have been even better had you removed that red looking net mesh on the bottom of the shot. Other than that, I think you did a good job. Not sure if you are looking for pointers, but if you are, I will say that of the last 3 shots, I would have picked out my favorite of the set and displayed that one.

Thanks for the pointers! I wish I would've removed it as well but I didn't think about it until after I was done taking them. And yeah, that's probably the best way to go about it. I just couldn't decide, lol.

That is how you learn :).

Of the last 3 shots, the last one is actually the best. The one turning away is the last of the 3. For me at least.

Yeah I was thinking that one as well. The last one for me (facing right) seems that the focal point ended up being more the rock than the fish.
