Hey everyone, I am new to reef central and im a photographer so i thought my first thread should be here. Ive studied photo for 5 years and have been shooting for 6 only 3 of which have been professionally. Im relatively new to underwater and coral photography but after shooting several thousand images its getting simpler. Currently Ive been taking alot of pictures for a lfs in yorba linda/fullerton California area and wanted to post some pics up.

Let me know what you think :)

I have so much gear that its rather overwhelming, This particular image was shot using a olympus ep-1 (micro 4/3rds system) with a leica 50mm sumicron f/2 lens. (leica M mount). Most of the time when shooting coral and other underwater aqarium stuff goes like this

Bodies
Cannon 30D, olympus ep-1, canon 5D mark II, or hasselblad 503 Ccxi

Lens
I have a nice leica m setup that i run on my olympus (with an adapter of course).
Cannon i have 3 L glass lens 70-200, 400, 100 (macro). Im missing a wide angle, for now I have a tamaron 14-44 but im waiting for another L

Im still saving up for a leica m8.2 or m9, but they are still rather pricey. Most people dislike rangefinders or at least lean toward SLRs but i love rangefinders.

How about you? what do you shoot with?
