Some of my Photography (pic heavy, but worth it)

I use an extremely low end Rebel XT and a Sigma 50mm f2.8 DG EX Macro lens.

All comments welcome...especially criticism.

Obviously still torn about the watermark, hence the mix.

Very nice. In particular the light painting pic. It is something that I would still love to try out. The conversion of the second pic is also very well done.

Hey, thanks a lot. I love light painting...it just seems to get over used in a lot of ways that it shouldn't.

Appreciate the comment!

first the important stuff: I like the stacked watermark the best. The last photo I would be curious to see it with a faster shutter speed, then post-processed to take the brightness down. Might reduce final graininess. (If you were wanting to go for that) but as is they all look good. You've got a great eye for placement/layout and obviously know the power of the golden rule :)

Hey I appreciate that a lot. I am self taught so appreciate any critique to make myself better.

Here are a few more of the light bulb series....the wave is my favorite.

I really like the mushroom shot, The colours are really nice. What tools/light sources do you use for your light painting?

The alien shot is great... What is that......? Being a city gent who does a lot of city shots, I have a suggestion . The sky is your background. Don't shoot up on overcast days. Also maybe try hdr to bring out some detail in the buildings...Other than that one comment I love them all...

Hey thank you! I actually use quite a lot of different tools. From a standard speedflash, to small led keychains and large pc cold cathode (google cold cathode light and you will see what I mean) that I wire myself. Steel wool on nylon coating for some shots, small flashlights and other light sources. I have even used McDonalds toys with small leds. Pretty much anything that makes light...I probably have used.

Not quite sure which one you are asking about....the smoke shot?? Its a broken lightbulb that I have fired without the glass on. Completely dark room, no flash, rapid fire shots as soon as the filament burns. You literally only get one chance at pictures per lightbulb. And its completely random. I have several HDR photos, but tend to lean towards more natural settings.
