Some pics from our 180 @ about 6 months in now

Beautiful tank, your hard work and patience shows. Would look even better if you got those frags off the bottom. The look of clean sand balances the rock and corals nicely.

Looks like you have had some good growth! Whats the large red/purple coral on the far right on the sand? Is it some sort of monti? I want one :eek2:

Looks GREAT. Just get the stuff off the sand. LOL. I guess its just a pet peeve of mine! :)

Thanks guys! I appreciate the input I have been trying really hard to clear my sandbed and you can notice most of the frags are gone just 10 so or colonies to mini colonies floating around that I'm still trying to find space for in the other tanks. I have too much stuff.

I agree though i hate seeing frag racks and frags pilled up in a reef

Yea i am pretty pleased with growth right now. That coral is a chalice coral that i have been growing out for a while now. It has a ref base with pink, purple, green, and blue streaks running through it. Fast grower for me and something i may frag in the future but right now I'm just letting it do its thing. Ill try to get a good top down shot of it so you guys can see all the colors

That looks amazing. How long did it take for those SPS colonies to grow out? You are definitely doing something right! Love it:D

thanks, most of the corals were 1" frags when started, some i purchased two of and stuck them together so they'd grow faster and be multi branching

I had few mini colonies moved from the other tank as well.

maxspect razors on preset 1 and every things happy

Very nice. Keep up the good work!!! Wheres the fish????

thanks Eddie,

I had to remove a few fish a week ago and chased them around for twenty minutes with the net. Now every time i kill the pumps and get overtop the tank they go into hiding mode. When theres any traffic near the tank they tend to hide now as well. I have even pu my screens back on top in case there are a few jumpers.
