most would say no,but mine is well fed and prefers (snails and hermits) the gobies and 2 peppermint shrimp have been in there for about 6-7 months and he pretty much leaves them alone. and i have a pair of neon gobies in there that feel comfortable enough to breed. so far the biggest threat as been a large ricorida mushroom that ate one of the neons.
