Some questions about zoo's.

I have seen so many zoo pictures lately and I can honestly say I am VERY jealous! I just had a few questions before I think about spending $10-$80 on a single polyp.

I have a 29g tank with a Coralife 65x2 PC fixture, would this be fine for zoos? We have had great luck with mushrooms and our current yellow polyps seem to be doing great.

What are some VERY colorful (But not insanley priced) zoo's that would be good for me to look into? I had a small section of zoo's (About 2-3 polyps) that came on a piece of rock I bought about 5 months ago, it has since spread into about 7-8 polyps, all very small though.

Anyone know of any sites that are good for getting zoo's? My LFS never really has anything more then the basic tan/tan w/ orange center/tan w/ a little green/aka too much bland tan.

Yes your lights would be fins for zoo's

Nice looking zoo's that are cheap are eagle eyes and watermelons they add a lot of color to your tank and go for $1 or under a polyp.

Wow nice link. Are those prices fair? It's about 1.5 hours from here, right around where my gf's dad used to live.

Just called them, they have a lot of stuff I would be interested in, might take a trip out there tomorrow or saturday, thanks!

well IMO, I thionk some of those prices are a little high, but not too bad.. whatever you do buy, just make sure your happy with it, for the price your gonna pay. dont pay higher, because you think you can frag it and make your money back...

I don't plan on paying a lot for a Zoo because it is rare or popular, I just want ones that I personally like and think would look good in my tank. I found some sites online but they either carry plain tanish ones, or really expensive and rare ones.

I would think so too, I just don't know where to look! We have a nice LFS, they are very informative and friendly, they just don't have the greatest selection of bright vibrant colored corals.

There are some other florida vendors... I just can't rmember any off the top of my head...

Search the local forums maybe??

But whatever you do stay away from aquacon... horrible reputation

That website is has normal prices to bad everything is sold

I talked to a guy there he was very helpful. He said that they have two 40g tanks for online purchases only but he said that they have plenty of what they show on the site in the store, for local purchase.

He said they have a set amount that they frag and list online every month.
