Some sort of worm ID?

Hi guys,

Found this on my blue ridge corals and was wondering if anyone seen anything like this??

Thats does not look like a worm to me. It looks like some nicely colored tunicates or sponges. Looks like you got a nice hickhiker.
 
Thanks - I took out the ‘thing’ last night and place it in a glass but however still confuse? However, it does eliminate it being some sort of Fire Worm, neither is it some sort of Ribbon Worm not is it some sort of Bristle Starfish??

It was wrapped around quite tightly to the coral base and I had to scrap him off and he broke into a couple of sections… (hope I got them all) in total I would estimate him to be about 10-12cm long


At this moment, the votes seem to be towards some sort of colorful tunicates or sponges!!

Encrusting colony tunicates, filter feeders....nothing to worry about. I would have left them. :P
