Some trouble with Home network...

So this could be an easy fix, I hope. I am not new to networking. Currently the Apex is accessible from my Iphone app, so I have that under control. I did have it accessible from my computer on my network, naturally as this comes first, but it's not pulling it up now. I never assigned it to a static IP always been dynamic, which is fine, only had an issue with it recently. The power went off so the IP reset and I went in to change the IP port forward, for remote access, when I did this it wouldn't work on the default (80), like it did before, it said there was a conflict. I set the port to something else and this worked. Setting the port to something else worked for remote access, but now I can't pull it up through the network. Anyone else had this problem, or now of a quick fix?

If this doesn't make sense let me know.

nope was not, you are a genius

thank you so much, didn't even know I had to do that. So why didn't I have to do that before?

Not a genius. Russ just did a post today on the reason why. Has to do with the default protocol/port relationship - HTTP is 80 and the browsers 'know' that. Once you change it, they don't know and you have to tell them. I'm paraphrasing of course.
