Corals are not as colourful as I would like but about what I would expect with the reasonably high fish load the tank also carries. A bit of Bio Digest seems to be slowly improving things.

Camera is Canon EOS30D with 100mm Macro.

Very nice! I love the perching hawks. Looks like you have some beautiful acros as well...have you taken a pic of the full tank yet, by any chance? :) Thanks for sharing!

(Random - I will be visiting your country this summer on my way to Australia...I can't wait!)

Not yet with the new camera. It is on my to do list for next weekend. The one below was taken with the old camera in February.

HEY... your city is my final destination for a few weeks - my boyfriend lives in Adelaide. :D

Full tank shot as promised.

Colours still a bit washed out, especially the branch tips.

Note the hair-algae rock on the LHS, introduced as a treat for the tangs, but which was more of interest to the bigger damsels.

And perhaps my best ones yet.

Awesome tank thanks for sharing
Thanks. Its been a few years in the making. The wide shots were taken with the kit lens, not the world leader in sharpness but proving very good as a lightweight load to take mountainbiking.

I'm currently designing a new light hood with lights that move thru the day. I need a new one anyway as the old one is falling apart after 10 years (built light so I could hang it from roof). The new one should give better front and back coverage as well, hopefully making for better photography, since the current one was designed for my previous, narrower, tank.
