Some white on my Montipora

What happened here? I noticed this white area last night when it looked fine all day. I have not added anything new to the tank. All paramaters are ok. Could something have attacked it. I did have a powerhead very close to it. I assume it lost some flesh?

Check under the coral. If it's nudis, that's where they usually hide during the day. Hope for you that's not it

that Aiptasia is not going to help with the corals health.

I have to kill the aiptasia on the MOnti and hopefully not get it on the flesh. It can't be nudis since I have had the coral for 3 years with no problems

well maybe it came on another coral, frag etc that you added a while ago. Doesn't cost much to have look just in case that's it. Also, nudis like to come out at night, so try to look under the monipora after the light have been off for a little while. It sure looks like nudi damage to me.
