While looking at some pics I took today I noticed that I have a few nice looking frags. Here are some, Please add yours and lets see if we cant get some nice color on here. I like zoos due to the vivid colors. The names here seems to be common but I have seen some very nice zoos without names attached.

Very nice Krafty, are those yellow on top and are the bottom one red with blue centers? Hey Buzz is that the mother colony to mine?

Nice pics guys. Looking through my photobucket account, I realized that I haven't taken any Zoanthid pics in a long time. I have zero decent shots of any of the current colonies in my 75g. I need to do something about that. :rolleye1:
Here's a shot of a colony that was in my 10g when I had it set up.

Nitro; the ones on top i think are yellow skirts with green centers (im in class at the moment and cant really remember what they look like) and the ones on bottom are orange/red with a blueish type center

lol actually im in a computer class(took it for an easy A to raise my gpa) but i've pretty much turned it into reefkeeping 101

Ok, here are some recent (10 minutes ago) zoanthid pics
You kind of have to view my zoanthids through the xenia stalks:rolleyes:

Brad the reason I ask was that the way mine looked under pc lighting nice open. Then when I put them under the halides they shrunk. What are the ones on the bottom right, they look like watermelons, is that right?

I think they are the same ones mariner had in the post above top pic. I grabbed up a sick deal on the top tonga branch rock with like 5 really nice different kinds of zoa's "about 30 total" for 25$'s at fat fish in daphne, al. What is really weird is that some of the zoas are doing really well and expanding while others seem to be decreasing like the alien eyes at the bottom of the actinic pic. I really like zoa's alot but have been somewhat unhappy with growth overall-

In my case sometimes they grow and sometimes they dont. Sometimes they like the light and sometimes they don't I had a nice rock of oranges that just completely disappeared while others in the tank were fine. Maybe something is eating them? Maybe flow, maybe lighting? It really could be anything.

Are you talking about my RPEs? If so that is the ones I got from you and as I said I will frag you off a couple of polyps when you have settled the new tank in.

Typical to my luck i took one out of focus picture before the camera went flat.

I'll take some more tomorrow.
