Anderson, sweet bit of info and thanks for reminding us about Fishbase....I hadn't thought to look there for that type of information (because it's so rarely available, but occasionally a species has reproductive info listed!)

Someone bought them. Was it anyone here? It has been my dream to try breeding them since I got in the hobby. I've thought of maybe trying nemateleotris decora before investing in their more expensive cousins though.

On the upside, there are pairs around fairly frequently on N. helfrichi...at least lately. There's a pair on eBay and The Marine Center is listing pairs right now as well.

I've done this, too - it can freak out the LFS workers a little - lol

I still have to find a compatible firefish pair.Everytime I chose a perfectly nice pair,after few days at home one ended killing the other
