Someone Sprayed Silly String in my tank!

It looks like someone sprayed silly string in my tank. It is a little ball of white stuff. What could i be? I have a sea hare, white sea slug and seahorses. The ball is about the size of a quarter. Should I be worried?
BTW it is under a shelf of rock and developed overnight.

sea hare eggs maybe? Can they lay them if there is only one in the tank?

Without a pic, hard to say. But sounds like the same eggs my sea hare laid.

Yep sounds like sea hare eggs. It's very common for just a single hare to lay eggs, but it's usually not a sign of good things to come. Keep an eye on the slug and get ready to remove it since it may be on its way out. I would also remove the eggs since they won't be viable and they can be toxic to some animals if eaten.
