Something ate my tigerwatchman gobie.

Hello Reefers,

Need your help/advice. I just recently added a pistol shrimp (not a tiger can't remember the species I purchase) and a golden sleeper head gobie. When I woke up today the watchman gobie body was half eaten up!!! The only other fish I have in my 65 gallon is 3 clown, 1 mandarin dragonet and a six line wrasse. Could the two new addition have killed it? I'm thinking about removing both of them. Need advice.

Thank you

Sorry to hear that. As a prime suspect for the death, I'd look at the six line. Possibly holds the record for the most psychopathic fish ever stocked into peoples' tanks.

Once dead, your clean-up crew, including the shrimp will have eaten it.

Either that, or it died due to other reasons shortly after stocking, and your clean up crew did their thing.

It could have died for other reasons different than aggression and then the cleaning crew ate it.

I’m just hoping of natural causes. I’m just afraid I might lose my dragonet next. I guess I’ll just keep monitoring it. Thanks for the feedback!

It could have been the pistol shrimp too, they don't always play nice with others. The most likely answer is that it died and your cuc did its job though.
