Something growing in zoas

Over the last week I have noticed some sort of coral growing within my zoas. Below is about the best picture I can get of them. Can anyone identify wht they are and if they are good or bad? Should I take the zoas out and dip them again? My water parameters are perfect and I recently noticed over the last 2 days they are not opening like they have been for 2 weeks.

yep, hydroids

There are many different types, many of which look very similar

in some systems they can be of little problem, in others they can reach plague proportions and irritate everything they are near

If you can remove the rock out from underneath them with either angled cutters or a heavy duty razor blade without too much trouble I would recommend it

I just got out what I could some are to close in between zoas to get out safely. Many of them have long stems/roots (not sure what to call them). Anything else that can be done to keep them at bay? I do not have a lot but also do not wish for them to multiply.

kalk paste worked for me, mix it thick and cover them with it. I am also told coralline algie will grow on the kalk paste i havnt seen it yet though
