Something is eating My Monti's...

Where's The Reef?
I noticed this about 3 weeks ago, there are chunks of Pieces being eaten out of my Montiporas!I have about completely lost 1, and there is still hope for the other 2 affected, this is a new one for me even, I don't think this is a nudibranch.

Picture taking a Bite Out of a Potato Chip, teeth marks and all.Thats What my Montiporas are looking like.

I believe I not only found the culprit last night, but caught it as well!My black Longspine urchin was Eating away at my Pavona last night at 2am in the morning! In the fuge as we speak!

Wow I didn't know the long spine would do that I had a few of the pencil urchin's and although I'm sure they were good algae eaters they were like bulldozers everyday my rockscape would be knocked down, that got old real quick.

Someone recently told me to get a long spine too, I think I like my monti's a lot more thanks for the info

I was about to say urchin as well.

My urchin has been doing this to my tank for a while.
Honestly, I don't mind, it keeps the monti growth under control as it seems to grow quite fast imho.

The urchin is perfectly harmless as well, I've seen my wrasses sleep next to them, side by side. Had the urchin since it was the size of a marble, now it's the size of a baseball.
Wrasse I've had for several years.

Mine is about 7" in diameter. The Monti's are recovering as we speak and are really starting to look like corals again!
