I was checking out the tank and I found this in the sandbed, looks like some type of anenome.

it looks like the mojano I had once [size and color].. it could be very very much worse than your worst nightmare if it is, and it gets out of control.... aptasia evil x 10 and harder to kill

do some research.. get ready to kalk the heck out of it if it is...

Yes, I did a look up, I thought it might be a majono. My emerald crab took off with it but I recovered it and pulled it out.

Do you have a picture of it when it's open?

I never saw it fully open, I glued it to a piece of rock and placed it in the corner. I'm going to see what it looks like fully opened, I'll post a pic later.

Atram first off thanks for the zoo frag. It is alive and well. Took it a bit to fully open and look happy but all is good now.
As for your new found foe it will probably look like this.

I think I got this one at Rockford. It appeared a few days ago then dissappeared before I did anything.

vvolfe1, glad to hear the frag is doing well. You should see some new polyps pretty quick. The colony I took it from has almost filled back in.

The new find seems to have short tentacles, I'll give it a while to see how it turns out.

Did you ever hear anything about the live rock?

Yeah, It looks like there is a new polyp starting might be a day or two yet before it opens. I still can not tell what color they will end up though. The color so far is good just seems like it is pale and has not decided to choose its final color, if that makes sense.

As far as the rock I'm broke atm. I bought to much other stuff lately so I didn't get the tank. When you are ready let me know though. Maybe we can go in on buying someones 75 gallon tank. I really dont need any rock it'd be nice to maybe switch a few peices to raise the bio-diversity. I do want a 75 though.
