something wrong with monti?

is there something wrong with this coral you see kind of the different colored spots ???

Nothing that I see, those are just the color of the polyps, and the white edge is the growth.

they are like light brown marks through out coral I'm not even sure if there is polyps in the marks

A couple of hours after dark is a good time to look, they hang around under the monti, you haven't recently put led's on your tank have you? or upped the intensity?

It is a long shot but mine looked similar when i accidentally put too much water flow directed right at my monti. It was blowing chunks of flesh off of it! Hopefully it is just a quick fix like that. Good Luck!

it's a weak one only using it for extra viewing time. you could be right though. I took it down.

good call on the leds I'd say he's recovering nicely since I removed them
