For what? All the rest of my SPS are ok so far, it did have a funny spot on it when I got it though..

Check the SPS Pests and Treatment thread at the top of the page and scroll down to Monti Nudi. Not saying that you have them however it's something to check for as they tend to work on the edges, similar to your pic. Nighttime after lights out is the best time to look and see if they come out.

Update: I took out the monti and put it in coral dip and it was a nudi, even after 10 min in the dip i had to get a tweezer and pry it off!

Look for eggs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look for eggs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look on the under side for eggs . The dip will NOT kill them.
They are hard to kill good luck.

Sorry to hear that. Nasty little things. Keep a close eye on your monti as where there is one there is generally more.

Anyone have pictures of the eggs, I didnt see anything that looked like eggs, but not sure what to look for either, and I only saw 1 nudi. I also got a melenarus wrasse for good measure.
