Somethings eating my snail?!

I have a 10 gallon saltwater tank with some frogspawn corals and some frag corals, i don't know the names. I have 2 tank bred false percula clownfish, a scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp, 2 turbo snails, 2 nassarius snails, and 7 hermit crabs. I have 2 dwarf blue leg hermits, 2 scarlet reef hermits, and the other 3 i'm not sure what they are but i think they are dwarf red tip hermits. I just noticed that one of the turbo snails shells looks like it has been chipped or possibly eaten. As far as i'm aware i do not have anything in my tank that does that but i have told you exactly what i have so please tell me if i'm mistaken. It could be possible that the snail just came like that i just never noticed until recently, i've only had it for 2 weeks. But it just seems so noticible that it's hard to imagine that i didn't notice. Please let me know what you all think. Thanks.

I would suspect the hermit crabs as they do go after snails for their shells while getting a free meal to boot. Other possibilities include mantis shrimps and a number of marine worm species.

it could have just fallen and chipped off some of the coralline that was covering the shell, unless you have a picture that'd be my guess
