Sony DSC- F717 question

Is there anyone with experience using this camera? I know it's a bit outdated for use but it was given to me. I figured Id give it a try. Any helpful advice on my settings? Also add on lenses? I'm pretty sure you can put some filters on as well. I'm really in the dark when it comes to the use of Sony cameras. Hopefully there's someone here who could point me in the right direction. Thanks.

My parents have the DSC-F707. If it is anything like theirs, than it is a really good camera. It uses a sonar lens instead of tessar which all the new sonys use and are less quality. You can play around with settings but I forget what it has. I think I just did some manual focusing and used macro.
