Nope this is the real deal guys. He got them from someone who originally bought the sopranos form the original vendor way back when. Not campfires.

Then if he knows that thier the real thing then why ask? post? lol
To me to ask for id is one thing but then play "dumb" brag a little and then just jump right on the sale thread and sell em is different...

I gotta say, I couldnt help but wonder the same thing.

In his for sale thread he said he got them one person removed from the source.......but posted this thread couple days before wondering what they were

To be sure, I could care less about lineage on polyps. If it is, it is regardless of where you got it from

sweet polyps. Ive wanted some for some time. Too bad Im too poor to choose to afford $150 per polp. Poor me. :(

No I don't have Soprano's. I do have eyes to look at the details in them, and thats what I am going off of. In your first 2 pictures you posted your zoas had a brownish base color, with beige speckles, and yellow and pink accents in the skirts.

Here in the Soprano's, the color on the skirts match the color of the speckles, no beige, no pink, no dull brown.

Just call them how I see them.

I see the exact same polyp there in those pics under slightly different conditions and lighting

not even enough difference to throw a shadow of a doubt. Just different shades fo the same colors due to environmental conditions

Answer I was going to get them but was only sent the first pic which was a horrible picture under low lighting. I was not told at the time they were purchased from aquasd when they came out. I only found that out when I went to pick them up and seen them for myself. Once I saw them in person and learned that they were purchased from aquasd as sopranos I had no doubt they were sopranos. Once confirmed I deiced to post some for sale.

Yup my excact same thoughts also if I had a high end camera everyone would see all the details to these bad boys and there would be no question to what they are only I want I want.

Thanks

ya know, as someone who also thinks they have an eye for polyps and how they can look under different conditions and lighting, I have to say that it clearly appears to me that dirt-nastys pic is a much more accurate representation of this polyp than the pic we have all been drooling over for some time now.

I for one feel a little duped :(

Dont get me wrong dirt-nasty510, I by no means mean to insult these polyps you are trying to make a quick buck off of. Yours are most certainly the real deal, and they are certainly VERY nice and I would like to have some in my collection.

They simply are not all I dreamed they would be now that I have seen a more accurate true to life picture than the one up on CP

Your explanation makes zero sense. What I see is that you got a great deal on some polyps then figured out they were worth $150 a pop, fortunately you could use your hype thread here to bounce yourself into some very healthy profits in the classifieds.

You just got those from a wild colony, they are in no way captive raised even though that's not stopping you from shadily making it look that way, way to let them settle in since sopranos are known to melt. I'm sure you'll be giving anyone who has them die a 100% refund right, I mean, otherwise it would just me a moneymaking scam at the expense of your fellow reefers.

Actually that's wrong. I saw the thread on a different forum where the person who first got them from AquaSD was selling his fraged up colony since he was getting out of the hobby. And I also understand how he wanted to find out if they were the real deal before he bought since the original seller was advertising them as sopranos. For something that could be such a hard thing to find I too would probably have done the same thing.
